Easter 2009
This Easter was a roaring success for the Pannier Market and the perimeter shops. With an Easter Bonnet parade and a fantastic Easter Egg hunt, people flocked to the Pannier Market from all around. The Market Reeve declared that “this was an exceptional Easter Bonnet parade, with wonderful creations that had taken a tremendous amount of effort, expertise and ingenuity.” He then added “this year some of the shops around the perimeter of the market entered into the spirit of things and were involved in the Great Egg Hunt, which made a lot of children very happy!” He thanked everyone for their wonderful support.
The quote of the Bank holiday weekend came from a six year old girl from Plymouth who happily declared that “this is the best Easter Egg Hunt that I have ever been on!! Can I come back next year?”
